With the release of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, actress Freya Allan is grabbing all the attention as she wonderfully plays the lead character of Mae in the film. Freya Allan is most popular for her appearance in the Netflix fantasy drama The Witcher. She stars in the show as Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon, nicknamed Ciri, who is the crown princess of Cintra, whose destiny makes her associated with Geralt, played by Henry Cavill in the first three seasons and Liam Hemsworth from season 4 onwards.

2. The Third Day (2020)

Freya Allan was also seen in the HBO and Sky miniseries The Third Day in 2020. The folk horror series follows the separate journeys of a man, Sam, and a woman, Helen, on a mysterious British island. Divided into ‘Summer’ and ‘Winter,’ it delves into Sam’s encounter with tradition-bound islanders and Helen’s arrival, which changes the island’s destiny. Allan plays the role of Kail, a girl whose mother, Jess, disappears from the island.

3. Gunpowder Milkshake (2021)

On the film front, Freya Allan previously appeared in the 2021 action thriller Gunpowder Milkshake, playing the young version of the protagonist Sam. The film stars Karen Gillan as Sam, a young assassin who joins forces with her estranged mother and former associates to protect a girl from rival killers. 4. The War of the Worlds (2019)

Freya Allan had a small but impactful role as Mary in BBC’s adaptation of H.G. Wells’ sci-fi novel, The War of the Worlds. Their lives are turned upside down by a Martian invasion, forcing them to confront a powerful enemy which seems impossible to be defeated by human resources.
