1. Taish (2020)
In 2020, Sanjeeda was seen in the Zee5 original film Taish. What is special about the action thriller film is that it was also released as a six-episode series simultaneously on the same platform. The film (and series) follows two best friends, Rohan and Sunny. Their lives get turned upside down when a violent encounter with a crime lord at a wedding unearths a shocking secret from their past. This dark truth ignites a chain reaction, dragging them into a dangerous world of criminals and revenge. Sanjeeda has a pivotal role in the film as Jahaan, who gets married into the crime lord’s family. The actress stands tall and makes her presence felt among the likes of Jim Sarbh, Harshvardhan Rane, Saloni Batra, Pulkit Samrat, and Kriti Kharbanda.
2. Gehraiyaan (2017)
Sanjeeda made her digital debut with Gehraiyaan, not the Deepika Padukone starrer, but a web series created by Vikram Bhatt. The horror series tells the story of Reyna Kapoor, played by Sanjeeda, a researcher at a Mumbai hospital who falls in love with her surgeon friend Shekhar while mysterious and gloomy incidents begin to occur. Also starring Vatsal Sheth and Trishaan Singh Maini, the ten-episode series is currently streaming on JioCinema.
3. Fighter (2024)
If you have watched Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s 2024 hit Fighter, you must have noticed Sanjeeda in the film. The actress plays the role of Saanchi Gill, Squadron Leader Sartaj “Taj” Gill’s (Karan Singh Grover) wife. The film revolves around Shamsher Pathania (Hrithik) aka Patty who fulfills his dream of getting into the Indian Air Force. As he faces new challenges and obstacles in his job, he must overcome those to become a real hero. While the movie got mixed reviews, it was declared a box office success after collecting over Rs. 330 crores worldwide against a budget of Rs. 260 crores. Fighter is now streaming on Netflix.
4. Kaali Khuhi (2020)
Sanjeeda has also featured in a Netflix original film titled Kaali Khuhi. The horror film follows a 10-year-old girl named Shivangi who has to save her ancestral village from the ghosts of its dark past. Shivangi is played by actress Riva Arora while Sanjeeda plays her mother Priya and Satyadeep Mishra portrays her father Darshan. The film also stars veteran actress Shabana Azmi in the role of Satya Maasi.
