His sister, Zoe, then decides to visit the city and investigate the matter on her own. Nelson portrays the role of young Anna, a friend of Axel who is seen in the flashback storyline and appears in nine of the ten episodes of the series. Nelson also had a small but impactful role in Netflix’s black comedy drama A Series of Unfortunate Events. The show tells the story of three children, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny, whose parents die in a house fire, and they are placed under the custody of a series of insensitive guardians. Nelson appears in the third season as Fiona Widdershins, the love interest of Klaus who is searching for her lost stepfather. 3. Hollyoaks (1995-Present)
There was a time when Nelson won over the soap opera audience with her portrayal of Jade Albright in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks. The storyline of her character being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and her relationship with fellow cancer patient Alfie Nightingale particularly left the audience emotional. She was on the show from 2015 to 2017 and won two British Soap Awards including Best On-Screen Partnership and Scene of the Year.

Nelson has also been a part of a few feature films. In 2021, she starred as Sophie in Reggie Yates’ Pirates. The comedy film is set in 1999 and traces the journey of three friends who take on a mission to attend a New Year’s party. 5. Last Night in Soho (2021)
Last Night in Soho is a psychological horror film revolving around a teenage girl who moves to London but gets haunted by the visions of a glamorous woman who lived during the 1960s. The film stars Thomasin McKenzie and Anya Taylor-Joy in the lead, who are supported by Matt Smith, Rita Tushingham, and Diana Rigg, while Nelson appears in a small role as Cami, a young girl who goes for an evening with her friends.
