The studio dates back to 1902 and now features 5 stages with space ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 square feet. Three of the stages are the classic 1930s and the rest two are smaller stages.

Over the years, numerous films and television shows have been produced at Ealing Studios. TV series filmed at Ealing Studios include Downton Abbey, Lockwood & Co., and The Royle Family. Apart from the studio, the outdoor sequences were also shot in dense forests around London.
