A Knight’s Tale (2001)
In this medieval adventure-comedy directed by Brian Helgeland, Bejo plays the role of Christiana, the love interest of the protagonist William Thatcher played by the late great Heath Ledger. A film directed by Asghar Farhadi, is always an instant classic. The Past explores a complex family dynamic and goes deep into interpersonal relationships. This might be an unpopular choice but the Brady Corbet film often gets lost in the clutter of the many films of the World War 2 era but this is an amazingly raw and chilling portrayal of a future dictator’s early years.
