Originally constructed in 1869 as a summer retreat for John Bayless, the estate underwent restoration in 1929 by owner Charles Ross and architect Frederick Morgan.
Today, the mansion boasts a 30-foot Belgian fountain, Greek Doric columns, a Gumwood-paneled library, and a Zuber & Cie mural. It also features modern amenities, including a Viking-equipped kitchen. The grounds feature terraces and a rebuilt guest cottage alongside a four-car garage and three-stall stable.
